I bought the Evenflo Take Me Too Express stroller a few weeks before my second daughter was born. My first born was 16 months old at the time, and I wanted a stroller that would be able to fit my toddler, and my baby in her car seat at the same time. This stroller seemed like the cheapest option for me. I read the reviews on it (not so good) and decided to take a chance.

The stroller comes disassembled, but includes the tools needed to put it together. It took me, 8 months pregnant, about an hour or so to put the stroller together. I don’t know how the Evenflo compares to other double strollers, but this thing is HUGE folded up. We drove a Ford Expedition at the time, and the only place this monster would fit is in between the seats.

As soon as I put it together, I started regretting my decision. It seemed very cheap and flimsy to me. The seats seem to be made out of card board. I mean, thin card board that I could easily bend with my hands. There is NO cup holder, which doesn’t sound like a big deal but it is a HUGE inconvenience. The stroller itself isn’t ugly or anything. Dark blue, with light blue patterns on the seat.

The stroller basically features a front seat and a back seat. The backseat is meant to hold the infant car seats, and reclines pretty far back. The front seat hardly reclines at all. There is a huge “basket” area under both seats.

The stroller did hold my infant car seat quite well (an Evenflo Discovery). It’s said to hold a variety of car seats. My toddler (who, I’ll admit, is a big girl, but still) had to SQUEEZE to fit into the front seat. She just looked so uncomfortable. Kind of scrunched in. The sunshade over the front seat was ridiculous. I tried and as hard as I pushed her head would not fit UNDER the shade. It don’t know what the problem was.

The stroller was a pain in the butt to push around. Its a very heavy, awkward stroller. Do not take it anywhere where the ground might tilt, or you’ll have to battle to no end with the stroller. Also, the thing is so huge I just avoided most public places all together.

Folding up the stroller was something I never aced. I could never get the little “hook” to match the “peg”, so I could never get it to close completely. It just seemed impossible. It has a button to press in order to fold it up, and that part was pretty simple.

I hated this stroller. I’m not going to lie. I wish I would have paid attention to the reviews I read before I purchased it. I don’t know if maybe I’m not a double stroller type of person or what, but I have only used my Evenflo stroller a handful of times. In those few times, the front “snack tray” (each seat has it’s own “snack tray”) has broke off.

My favorite feature was the HUGE storage area, but, if you were using an infant car seat (which requires the back seat to be reclined fully) you can not access the storage area, which makes it kind of pointless.

I’m not even going to list what I didn’t like. I think the whole review goes over that.

Bottom line, research your purchase. There are WAY better strollers out there. I just stuck with two single Graco strollers, since whenever I got out my husband or mother-in-law is usually with me.
