The Evenflo(r) Take Me Too stroller provides optimal parent convenience for short trips or all day adventures - for TWO! Also, it holds most major infant car seats in rear seat!
Poor Quality - Back Wheels
Positive Lightweight and low cost
Cons: Plastic wheels wear out. Front cup tray take two hands to fold.
We purchased this stroller to replace a Graco single stroller. Our kids are 17 months apart and small to avg in size. The rear stroller wheels wore out where the metal axle runs through the center of the wheel, causing the hole in the wheel to become enlarged to the point where it will fall off. It is also difficult to fold the front cup holder over since it requires both hands to hold down four release buttons at the same time. There is no cup holder or small storage at the handle bars which is convenient for the person pushing the stroller. It is also difficult to place things into the bottom storage area. We would not recommend this stroller to friends.
Low price. Low quality.
Positive Lightweight, Price.
Cons: Wheels fall off.
This is not a “Cadillac” of strollers. I think we paid around $90 for it at Target. My wife and I liked how lightweight it was. Our main issue is that the back left wheel fell off twice. This happened only after using the stroller moderately for 5 months or so. After the second time, I called Evenflo and they sent a replacement axle/wheel cap that has so far taken care of the problem. But now we are so nervous about taking long stroller trips, in fear that it might happen again. We cannot recommend this product.
take me back
Positive compact for a tandem easy to open and close.
Cons: cheaply built and not durable broke twice in a year.
Stroller is easy to open and close and is very compact but that is where the fun ends. we bought this stroller because of the price and the compact size. we have owned the stroller for a little over a year and have had to replace the rear wheels once and the replacement wheels are falling apart. the stroller left my wife stranded in a mall with two children when the rear wheel broke and fell off of the stroller. we will never buy another stroller from Evenflo
Awkward and falling apart
Positive colour
front cup holder
Cons: no rear cup holder, hard to access storage underneath, rear wheel broken, difficult to steer
I bought this stroller when my second child was born almost a year ago. For the past six months at least, I have found it nothing but an albatross around my neck. It’s falling apart, hard to steer, and awkward to use. I can’t afford a new one and it’s too late to take this one back, but it is probably the worst purchase I have ever made. I only wish that I had spent the small amount extra to get a something decent when I had the chance. I spent $200 CDN on it and could have had the Duoglide for $250. I would NEVER recommend this stroller to anyone.
NOT A GOOD CHOICE
Positive Inexpensive
Cons: Bad design, Cheaply made, Difficult to maneuver
This stroller is terrible, I wish I never would have bought it. I have probably only used it ten times in the year I’ve had it. I found myself dreading going places with both babies just because of the stroller. First of all, the front seat does not stay in place, it is very flimsy. The front seat also is very small. My 1&1/2 year old’s feet can drag the ground- and she is SMALL for her age. It also does not adjust to the full upright position, which is awkward because the seat is not high enough to support her neck properly, so it looks like she is leaning back. There are no 5 point harnesses, a baby looking over the side could possibly fall out. The snack tray on the front of the stroller broke off the 3rd time we used it. The front sun shade is useless. It is very difficult to steer. I now wish I would have splurged for one of the more expensive models. I had to buy a better stroller anyway, so I ended up spending more than if I had bought a good one from the start.
DO NOT BUY!
Positive light and folds well
Cons: crappy cheap plastic and wheels fly off without notice.
I bought this stroller when my second child was born in June 2004 (three months ago). I had the Evenflo Discovery car seat and travel system, so I had some confidence in their products. Well, I live in suburbia and my stroller gets an average amount of use… in fact, the treads on the wheels look almost new. So imagine my surprise when yesterday out of the blue the back right wheel came flying off!! Also, the cheap plastic front tray broke about a month ago.
I have contacted the company via email but was told that I will have to talk to one of their reps (the email response didn’t give me a name to speak to, just an 800 number) during business hours. So I’ll be telling my story til the cows come home! Plus, the stroller is unusable. Then again, after walking 1/2 mile yesterday on three wheels, I probably won’t have the strength to take the kids on a walk for a while!
worst stroller you can spend your money on
Positive none
Cons: cheap structure, horrible customer service from the company, very cheap.
The back wheels broke off after less than a month. Got it replaced at the store for a new one and again the same thing happened after less than a month. Called the company after the store refused to exchange it again and haven’t received the part that I need replaced and it’s been more than 6 months of this. Save your money!
stroller that breaks easily
Positive Price and that is about it.
Cons: Wheels break easily, hard to manuver, basket hard to put things into.
We were given this stroller as a gift and expected it to last for a while. We were happy with our single stroller made by evenflo. To our dismay, the stroller’s back wheels started turning inward and are now rubbing against the frame. We have only had the stroller four months! Today we had to go out and buy a new stroller to replace it!
Unless you are good with tools, buy another stroller
Positive Price, size, price, maneuverability, price, cargo space, price, and if I forgot, price.
Cons: Incredibly poor design of the back wheels, poor customer service, cheap materials.
Okay, now I know the axiom. You get what you pay for.
But having two toddlers at the same time, I couldn’t pass up a tandem stroller for $90.
Man I wish I had. The Evenflo Take Me Too has the most unreliable, poorly designed rear wheels I have ever seen. Plastic wheels, no bushings or bearings, just plastic, and soft plastic at that, on a metal axel held on by a single cotterpin. The blasted things had warped so much in a week that they were actually leaning on the bar.
So of course, I took things into my own hands, and have since made modifications, voiding the warranty to be sure but turning this into a usable stroller. More information on how I altered this stroller can be found at.

Anyway, unless you have the ability to alter this incredibly poor design, DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER!
Great Stroller
Positive Great for anyone who wants their kids to move freely.
Cons: Front seat is a little small.
After using the Duoglider this stroller was great. The child in the back is able to get out and get back in without assistance. Something she couldn’t do on the Duoglider. The only problem was the front seat was a little small. I see complaints about quality and cheapness, but mine hasn’t broken in 2 years of use. Also it isn’t any more heavy than my other double strollers.
dangerous, cheap junk!!!
Positive there is no pro to a dangerous stroller that breaks in the first year
Cons: poor, cheap and dangerous construction. Should be recalled!!
This stroller is junk. We have used it for about a year and the wheals are falling off. the snaps the hold the cloth seats in have broken leaving jagged exposed metal on the are rests. The rear of the stroller is starting to lean to the left. Don’t buy this. It is a wast of money!!!
Do not buy this!
Positive Umm … it stands on its own after you fold it down.
Cons: Hard to break down, cheap plastic, wheels fall off.
I bought the Evenflo Tandem Stroller about 5 months ago. I thought it would last longer than this. I have a 20 month old and a 10 month old. First of all, its a bit of a challenge to put the little one’s car seat it in, because all you have to snap it onto is this bar covered with fabric that is velcroed onto the stroller (yes velcroed). My son in the front cannot recline at all if the car seat is in there. After my youngest got big enough to ride in the stroller without the carseat, it was easier, but not better. All double strollers are hard to push, but after the bottom wheels began to turn outward, it was horrible. Eventually one wheel just fell off.
Evenflo does have great customer service. They sent me a replacement one. That one? The wheels became loose and fell off within a few months. My son is 24 lbs barely. My daughter is 17 lbs. I am well below the maximum weight. And I do not put a whole lot of items in the basket below.
great stroller
Positive lightweight, easy to maneuver, roomy
Cons: back wheel is wobbly, no cupholder for mom
We have two girls–2 and 3 years old. This is our second double stroller. Our first was a big mistake purchased online from One Step Ahead. This Evenflo stroller is MUCH easier to maneuver and the girls have plenty of room. My three year old helps herself in using the handy step. My only complaints are that there is no cup holder for mommy and the rear wheel is a bit wobbly. We called Evenflo and they are sending us out a new wheel. Overall we are quite pleased and would buy this stroller again. I wish we had bought this one first. It would have saved us almost $200! We bought ours from Target and I think it was about $90.
Don’t waste time on where wheels fall off.
Positive This stroller has a nice pattern and manuvers nicely.
Cons: Rear axle bends and the wheels are ready to fall right off.
After only a couple of times using this stroller, the rear axle started to bend, and the rear wheels are starting to fall off. Thank goodness it didn’t leave me stranded, but now I can’t even use it, because I’m afraid the wheels will fall off at any time.
