We bought the Take me too stroller in December of 2004 because it drove the best of all the ones we test drove. After 7 months of normal use, the right rear wheel fell off while pushing it along the sidewalk. At the time of the stroller failure it was loaded with our eight month old son, (weighing 15 pounds) our 23 month old son (weighing 25 pounds), and a diaper bag (weighing 5 pounds). The stroller was loaded well within the operating limits of 40 pounds per seat. Throughout our 7 months of using the stroller, it had never been loaded outside the limits. The wheel design is terrible. The axle is metal and the wheel is plastic. The hub of the plastic wheel rubs on the metal axle until the hole in the wheel is too large for it to stay on the axle. Then it falls off leaving you stranded to carry your kids and your broken stroller. This is particularly a problem for taller stroller pushers who tend to put some weight on the handle to prevent a sore back. With the added weight put on the handle, the plastic wheel really generates some heat and will fail without exception. Bottom line: nice stroller when the wheels stay on, but don’t waste your money.
